Not Pogey Oil.....

I don't know what it is, but it is not pogey oil. I grew up close to the old Pogey Plant and Docks in Cameron, LA. It makes a hell of a slick, but so does WD-40. Haven't caught a fish that I can attribute to using this....smells like synthetic motor oil. I'm running 3 boats in the Gulf of America and garlic is much better. Crush fresh garlic and soak your plastics in it. End of Story. Dr. Jack Taylor

We contacted our supplier, Aquatic Nutrition Inc., to address your concerns. They confirmed that this product is made from 100% pure menhaden oil, sourced from a U.S.-based company, and that the product has been supplied for many years.

If you’re looking for a stronger fish-based scent, our supplier also suggested trying Chum Slick, which is made from fish carcasses processed into a hydrolysate. It may be an option to consider mixing with menhaden oil, depending on your fishing application.
