It snaps on easily and creates a secure, tight seal to help prevent leaks and spills during use or transport.
We had been purchasing these buckets for several years and they were great, sadly to say they are NO longer suitable for our needs. After a recent order, I thought I was going to be writing a great review, instead it's the opposite. The new changes (slightly smaller size, ridiculous new style uncooporative lid, non-performing opening tool, no longer a tight seal) we will no longer be purchasing what was a great bucket. Too bad too because this was our go-to bucket. Hopefully the old style will someday return!

Last year, we switched to a new bucket supplier due to unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately, some of the buckets we received were not up to the quality standards that our customers had come to expect, and we understand your frustration .
The good news is that we have since returned to our previous supplier, and the current buckets once again feature the tight-sealing design.
